SamiEase ("the App") is developed and maintained by Trovyn Tech LLC ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our App.
Most of the data you enter in SamiEase — including your name, check-in responses, journal entries, breathing session history, and preferences — is stored locally on your device only and is not transmitted to us.
However, two optional features in the App do send a limited amount of data to our backend server. These features are off by default and only transmit data if you choose to use them. They are described in the "Partner Sharing" and "Send Feedback" sections below.
SamiEase also offers an optional Plus subscription (see "In-App Purchases" below). When you subscribe, your platform's app store and RevenueCat handle the purchase — we do not handle or store your payment information.
SamiEase uses on-device storage (AsyncStorage) to save your settings and usage data. This local data stays on your device and is not synced to a cloud account. There is no general account creation. The exceptions are the optional Partner Sharing and Send Feedback features, which transmit specific data described below.
SamiEase includes an optional Partner Sharing feature that lets you share a snapshot of your sleep progress with a chosen partner. This feature is disabled by default. If you choose to enable it, the App uploads the following information to our backend server (a Cloudflare Worker, "samiease-api"):
This information is stored on our server for up to one year so your partner can view your shared progress. Your partner can also send you a "nudge." Nudges are delivered as remote push notifications through the Expo Push Notification service, which receives your push token in order to deliver the notification. If you do not enable Partner Sharing, none of this data is collected, transmitted, or stored.
SamiEase includes an in-app "Send Feedback" form. This feature is optional and only sends data when you actively submit feedback. If you submit feedback, the following information is posted to our backend server:
We use this information solely to understand and respond to your feedback and to improve the App.
We do not use any analytics services, advertising frameworks, or tracking tools. We do not collect usage statistics, crash reports, or behavioral data.
SamiEase offers an optional "SamiEase Plus" upgrade processed through your platform's app store (Apple App Store on iOS, Google Play on Android) and managed by RevenueCat. Both monthly/yearly subscription options and a one-time lifetime option are available. For current pricing, please see the in-app paywall or your app store listing.
We do not handle, store, or have access to your payment information. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple and Google.

You can restore previous purchases at any time from the paywall screen or your platform's app store. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled in your platform's subscription settings.
SamiEase integrates with the following third-party services:
No other third-party services are used. Aside from the optional Partner Sharing and Send Feedback features and purchase verification, the App functions without sending data to our servers.
Bedtime reminders, morning affirmations, and daily tips are scheduled locally on your device and do not involve any external service. If you enable the optional Partner Sharing feature, partner "nudges" are delivered as remote push notifications through the Expo Push Notification service (see "Partner Sharing" above).
SamiEase does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The App does not require any personal information to function.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
